Lots of Vague Emotions

Love, do I really wanna fall into it once more? If I do what am I really setting myself up for?

Broken promises? Broken hearted? Infidelity? Or maybe I’ll get luck & he’ll love me unconditionally.

“True love last forever”, maybe that’s just a cliché. What if he decides he’s not in love with me anymore & just up and walk away. Should I hold on? Should I let go? Maybe he’ll change his mind. Or maybe I should realize that I’m just wasting my time.

They say love’s a charm third time around, but I’m not quite sure if I’m ready to let my guard down.

Love’s not all bad, it has its positive side but, the negative is all I think about…”why bother giving love a third try?”

See love is an emotional battle and I’m not sure if I’m ready for war…because if I fall in love again, what am I really setting myself up for?

This poem is dedicated to all who may have given up on love due to past hurt and disappointment.
